SAFE Home Study and Ongoing Support

The purpose of the SAFE home study is not only to assess suitability but also to build understanding and confidence. It helps families learn what fostering means for them and how to prepare their homes and hearts for children and youth.

Once approved, foster caregivers become valued members of our CASSDG. care network. They continue to receive:

• Dedicated support from a Foster Care worker
• Ongoing training opportunities
• Access to peer networks and community resources
• Guidance in caring for children’s cultural, emotional, and developmental needs

Foster caregivers work collaboratively with CASSDG. staff and community professionals to ensure children experience stability, healing, and belonging.
